Mail2World Enhances Account Security by Strengthening Password Requirements

Los Angeles, CA (July 12, 2022) – Mail2World, a leading global email provider, has enhanced its password usage requirements for the creation of any new email accounts. To combat email accounts from becoming compromised, Mail2World is implementing additional security requirements for account passwords. These requirements include adding special characters to all passwords and ensuring uniqueness to each password reset. 

The new Mail2World password requirements will act as a further safety net for users who may not have the knowledge of how to protect themselves online. A few of the new Mail2World password requirements are as follows:

• End-users not being able to use a password more than once
• Requiring all passwords to be at least 10 characters in length
• An account being locked if three failed attempts
• Not allowing specific IPs from identified countries to login to the account
